More vulnerabilities on Mac than Windows
I can't even count how many times I have heard Macs are more secure. What disturbs me about this is how inaccurate this is given the fact Macs average five times more security vulnerabilities per month than XP and Vista combined. Apple Macs average over 20 security flaws each month in 2007 according to Secunia an independent third party security company. Over 90% of these are considered "Highly Critical". Apple Mac users typically do not run many security tools like Anti-Virus because there are not many available and most users buy into Apple's claim of complete security. I have heard it mentioned more than once that Macs do not require Anti-Virus protection or any other security software.
